Instituto Camões

This project is focused on rehabilitating the headquarters of the Camoes Institute of the Portuguese Language, formed by two of the oldest buildings in Vigo. The challenge was to give practical use to this space, involving Portuguese culture to make it more active as it is currently unused. I chose to create a ceramic school and exhibition space due to its historical connection with Portugal, the positive impact of crafts and creative activities, and for supporting art.
